Dr. Bradley Watson
DMD Owner
Dr. Watson was born in the northern town of Fort Nelson BC, but grew up in Surrey/Langley area. Before pursuing dentistry, he completed a Red Seal Journeyman Welding Ticket to fund his education by working in construction during the summer months.
He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology with an extended minor in Psychology at the University of the Fraser Valley where he graduated with honours and distinction in 2016. Dr. Watson was awarded the research excellence award grant in 2015 and 2016 for his work with children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Dr. Watson studied dentistry at the University of Sydney in Australia, becoming a Doctor of Dental Medicine. This program is known for its specific emphasis on pursing excellence in clinical dentistry with early hands-on patient care.
Dr. Watson prefers to develop relationships and connections with his patients that are about more than just dentistry. It is his belief that dentistry is an integral part of the holistic care of an individual and he looks forward to contributing to the overall health and wellness of his patients.
He is excited to be joining the local communities in the lower mainland after spending time working on Vancouver Island and in northern Canada. He is a scratch golfer but loves to play. He appreciates good coffee, good food, and most importantly suggestions on where to find them! He is also an avid sports fan, especially football! On Sundays, you will find him cheering for the Green Bay Packers!
Dr. Robyn Papadimatos
DMD
Dr. Robyn Papadimatos is a very well-rounded clinician. She completed her dental degree at the University of Sydney, Australia. This is Australia’s oldest and most prestigious program. It is well known for producing clinically strong dentists who are proficient in all aspects of dentistry, yet also encompasses a well-rounded medical component creating dentists who understand the oral cavity and its connection to the human body and overall health.
After working for 1.5 years in Australia Dr. Robyn made the move to Canada and has spent the last 2 years on Vancouver Island where she was able to hone her clinical skills and study new treatments to offer like Botox and Invisalign.
Dr. Robyn firmly believes that oral health is a significant factor to overall health and wellness and tailors her practices to reflect this belief.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Robyn enjoys the simple things. She loves to browse local markets and enjoys being by the ocean while sipping on good coffee. Her favorite food is anything with pasta! She looks forward to settling into the Fort Langley community and continuing to serve the patients of Bedford Dental.
Dr. Simran Cheema
DMD
Dr. Simran Cheema is a highly professional and experienced dentist who has been providing exceptional dental care to her patients since 2020. She was born in Abbotsford, Canada. She lived in India during her schooling and later moved back to Canada to pursue a Bachelor Science degree from the University of British Columbia. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney, Australia and worked at Nepean Dental Hospital for 3 years, gaining vast experience in various aspect of dentistry. She moved back to Canada in 2020 and has since been part of Johnston Road Dental.
Dr. Cheema believes in a conservative approach in treating patients with a strong passion for patient care. She is particularly passionate about restorative and endodontic procedures. Dr. Cheema offers a very gentle approach towards her patients thus making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cheema enjoys reading, knitting and crocheting. She also has a passion for gardening and browsing quaint towns around BC.
Dr. Tim Barker
DMD
Dr Tim Barker grew up in Regina Saskatchewan. He graduated from the college of Dentistry at Saskatoon in 1984. During his final two years of Dental College, he travelled extensively as Chairman of the Canadian Dental Association Student council. This travel included travel to beautiful British Columbia so upon graduation he relocated almost immediately to Vancouver. Dr. Barker was in private practice for approximately ten years in Vancouver, and opened the very successful City Square Dental.
Dr. Barker married Nancy in 1991. She works part-time in the office and is also busy with their three children, Riley, Carly, and Corey. The Barker’s relocated from Richmond to South Surrey in 1993 and enjoyed this wonderful community since that time. They feel it is an awesome place to raise their busy children. Their children are active in soccer, basketball, hockey, music, scuba diving and of course school. Dr. Barker is active in the community and at the children’s school. He enjoys coaching basketball, martial arts, golf, travel, scuba diving, and spending time with his family.
